Family and Play Therapist

Veronica is a passionate and thoughtful clinician working with children, young people, families in Australia and Asia for more than 15 years.  She is committed to deeply understanding the person or family, their context and the difficulties that can arise. She believes it is crucial to provide a safe, supportive and nuturing space to help clients achieve their therapy goals. 

Veronica has extensive experience providing therapy for children and young people experiencing a range of mental health, trauma related, emotional and relational difficulties. Veronica is also experienced in working with families who are in the process of, or who are experiencing difficulties due to family separation or divorce. Veronica has worked with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds with sensitivity and utilizes a client-centred systemic and trauma informed approach. 

Veronica is formulaic and holistic in her application of a range of approaches such as Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systemic Family as indicated. When working with children and adolescents, Veronica places emphasis on the importance of working collaboratively with parents and teachers to effectively support and empower the system of support.
