Selina Chapman

Registered Psychologist

Selina is a registered psychologist with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan with a range of different needs, and diverse backgrounds.  

Selina has also worked on the Central Coast working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait communities. Selina has an Australian European cultural background. Her family are proud Darkinung and Awabakal people living on Darkinung country. Selina is trained in culturally safe practices and assessments such as understanding cultural safety, Aboriginal mental health and social emotional wellbeing. 

Selina has experience and training in working with multiple modalities, across a range of presentations including trauma, domestic violence, drug and alcohol dependence, anxiety, depression, loneliness, hoarding, personality disorders, neurodiversity, suicide intervention, sexuality diversity, significant life changes, social-emotional learning, family dynamics and returning to work. 

Selina is passionate about working with the Central Coast community supporting and working collaboratively together for empowerment, and positive change. She has a special interest in trauma-informed care, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness, and meditation for mind-body balance. 

Selina is always learning and wants to expand her skills and knowledge in culture, art, philosophy, and fishing.
