Leisa Pritchard

Leisa is a registered psychologist who is experienced in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of needs. Leisa has worked extensively in early intervention, and across a range of other settings including drug and alcohol treatment, disability services, and private practice. Leisa has experience working with anxiety, depression, behavioural issues, complex developmental trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attachment difficulties, selective mutism, and developmental disabilities such as Autism, ADHD and intellectual disability. Leisa has a special interest in assessing and supporting children with Autism, ADHD, or those who have experienced developmental trauma, and is passionate about facilitating deeper emotional connection within the child-caregiver relationship to foster greater well-being.
Leisa takes a holistic approach to therapeutic intervention, and utilises a variety of treatment modalities to engage and support the whole person. Leisa incorporates attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, and has a special interest in Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and solutions-focused interventions.
Leisa is a qualified yoga teacher, and utilises mind-body approaches to engage her clients holistically in the therapeutic process. Leisa is known for her warm and down-to-earth approach, and provides a respectful and safe experience for children and families.
