At The Heart and mind Collective assessments are not just about finding out if an individual meets the criteria for diagnosis. While formal diagnosis is an important part of the process, especially for access to funding and support, a good assessment will help individuals and families make meaning of their experiences, increase understanding of their strengths and challenges, and provide guidance on intervention and support for years to come.

Our clinician’s utilise gold-standard assessment tools and approaches that are recommended within the national guidelines for assessment provided by governing bodies such as the Autism CRC (Cooperative Research Centre) and the Australian ADHD Professionals Association.
