Registered Psychologist
Arthi is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Counsellor with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families, both in Australia as well as the UK. She is warm and empathic, with a passion for bringing out the strength, resilience and creativity of her clients.
She has extensive experience working in schools and not for profit organisations that serve young people and their care givers. She works with individual clients ages 6 onwards, and with parents and carers of children of all ages. Her areas of interest include parent-child relationships and attachment, child and adolescent mental health and working collaboratively with schools to provide a wholistic approach to supporting her clients.
With her background in Counselling, Arthi works from different therapeutic frameworks including Narrative Therapy, Solution-focused brief therapy, and Play therapy depending on the needs and interests of the clients. Regardless of the modality used, she brings to every session curiosity, engagement and playfulness. Arthi sees her profession as a privilege that enables her to be a part of another’s story, growth and learning.
