Anna Shcherbak
Registered Psychologist
I'm a registered psychologist passionate about helping people make positive changes in their lives. I use a trauma-informed, strength-based, solution-focused, and collaborative approach, and incorporate evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). My work is also informed by attachment theory and mindfulness practices.
I have four years of experience working in private practice, supporting adults with a range of mental health concerns. Prior to this, I spent over ten years in organisational development consulting, working with clients on talent development initiatives, including leadership development, career coaching, and workplace issues.
I strive to create a safe, reflective, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My goal is to help you move towards a value-driven life by better understanding yourself and others, changing unhelpful patterns, and developing healthier relationships with yourself, others, and the world around you.
I'm particularly interested in anxiety and related disorders, including OCD, panic, and phobias; mood disorders; PTSD and trauma; as well as helping people adjust to major life changes and navigate work-related challenges. I speak Russian and have a conversational understanding of Ukrainian.
